A stylist since the age of 18, Diana understands firsthand how the beauty profession can become a path to independence, stability, and dignity.

After emigrating to the United States and working in over 1,000 beauty salons across several states, she witnessed a shocking reality: talented, hardworking people lacking access to education, licensing, and economic mobility. She knew the industry could offer more.

In 2025, Diana founded the Belisimoda Academy to transform informal talent into licensed professionals through structured internships, mentorship, and community impact. Its mission is not only to teach skills but also to open doors, helping women and emerging professionals turn their skills into opportunities, their confidence into credibility, and their passion into sustainable careers.
