What is a member of Belisimoda Academy?
A member is someone who believes that Hispanic talent in the beauty industry deserves a formal, documented, and sustainable place.
You don't need to be a stylist. You don't need a license. You just need to believe that when a woman has real access in her own language, with income from day one, her life changes. And when her life changes, it changes the lives of those who come after her.
What do our members do?
Our members are an active part of the ecosystem. Depending on their profile, they can:
✦ Volunteering - Accompany Solidarity Cutting sessions, community workshops and Academy events
✦ Mentoring - Sharing your professional experience with apprentices who are building theirs
✦ Advocacy - Being a voice for Belisimoda Academy in its networks, communities and spaces of influence
✦ Giving - Support the scholarship fund that makes it possible for more women to access the program
✦ Connecting - Opening doors to partner salons, organizations, sponsors, and opportunities that expand the Academy's reach
Why become a MEMBER?
Because the change that Belisimoda Academy is building cannot be done alone.
Every apprentice who graduates needed someone who believed in them before seeing results. Every workshop that reaches a community needed hands to help build it. Every door that opens needed someone on the other side willing to receive it.
Being a member of Belisimoda Academy means being part of that cycle — the one that transforms invisible workers into documented entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs into mentors who train the next generation.
